Images and media
Working with images and pasted content in the editor.
You can paste, drag in, or upload images (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF) into saved documents; images are stored for the document when you are online and signed in. On unsaved or ephemeral canvases, images may embed directly in the draft. For text, paste from Word or Google Docs usually preserves structure best; complex layout may still need a pass after export.
Equations
For mathematical notation, paste Unicode symbols or equations from another editor. Dedicated equation blocks are not a primary focus of the default editor; export to Word and refine in your final document if needed.
