Clara in-app help
In-editor draft assistant; product how-tos belong in Help center.
Clara is an in-app assistant on PRO and Platinum when enabled for your account. In the document workspace, use the Clara button in the document header (next to Review) to open or close the right-hand Clara panel—click again to dismiss, or use the collapse control in the rail.
From a document, Clara’s main job is your draft: she sees the title and plain text (within limits), and highlighted text if you select before sending. Optional web or saved references snippets are added only when you enable those options for a message (plan and server setup permitting). Say your assignment type, audience, and constraints when you want feedback tied to your goals—she does not see your syllabus or rubric unless you describe them.
For product how-tos (where to click, exports, billing, step-by-step citation dialogs), open the Help center (/help) from the sidebar and search (⌘K / Ctrl+K). Clara is instructed to point you to Help for those topics instead of detailed UI walkthroughs.
Clara is not a substitute for your institution’s policies on academic integrity or citation rules. Always verify citations and final text yourself.
If you do not see Clara, check your plan and organization settings. Opening Clara closes the Review rail if it was open, and vice versa.
